THE GEFFEN PLAYHOUSE POSTPONES A PICASSO

LOS ANGELES, October 19, 2006 — Producing Director Gilbert Cates announced today plans to postpone the West Coast premiere of A Picasso to a future date due to scheduling conflicts within the theater.   The production was originally set to begin December 2006 in the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater – the Geffen PlayhouseŐs intimate second stage, which was built during last yearŐs  $19 million renovation project.  The new performance dates will be announced at a later time.
