Geffen Playhouse, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.

Geffen Playhouse provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, Geffen Playhouse complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.

Geffen Playhouse expressly prohibits any form of workplace harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status. GEFFEN PLAYHOUSE COVID-19 EMPLOYEE VACCINATION POLICY

To protect employees and their families as well as our contractors, vendors, and patrons from the spread of COVID-19, Geffen Playhouse has implemented a mandatory vaccination policy. As a condition of employment, all employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and show proof of an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccination (the vaccine) unless the employee requests and receives an exemption from HR. Employees must schedule and obtain all recommended doses of the vaccine from an authorized health care provider or other third-party administrator, such as a local pharmacy.

Any employee who seeks an exemption from this policy based on a disability or any medical condition that is a contraindication to the vaccine, such as a history of certain allergic reactions; or a sincerely held religious belief, observance or practice that conflicts with being vaccinated, must be willing to explore with the organization the prospects for reasonable accommodation in lieu of such vaccination. The organization will grant accommodation if it is reasonable and does not create an undue hardship or pose a health or safety risk to that employee or to others potentially affected. While we ask that you not provide any medical or genetic information with that request, we will maintain as confidential any such information that comes to light in the process.
