Liz spearheads the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation's venture philanthropy program. In this role, Liz travels throughout the country to bring the message of Levitt Pavilions to national recognition. Beyond Levitt Pavilions, Liz has a long and distinguished history of hands-on involvement with nonprofit organizations, serving on numerous boards and supporting organizations that foster social justice and access to the arts. Currently, she serves on the boards of Center Dance Arts and Hollywood Arts (both as a founding board member) and has previously served on the boards of The Joffrey Ballet, Dance Camera West and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Some of Liz's recognitions include the 2013 Honorary Citizen Award from the City of Memphis; 2013 recipient of the Ruby McKnight Williams Award from the NAACP (Pasadena chapter); 2012 Finalist for the Vanguard Award presented by the Western Arts Alliance; 2011 Guest of Honor at The Joyce benefit in New York City; 2009 finalist for the Philanthropist of the Year by Association of Fundraising Professionals, Los Angeles; and the 2008 Philanthropy Award from the Gabrielle Axelrad Foundation
