POSITION OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Front of House Associate, the welcoming face of the theatre during performances and events. This customer service-oriented role is crucial for creating an exceptional experience for our patrons. We are hiring for various positions and specifically seeking seasonal employees who work for the run of Am I Roxie?. We are specifically looking for someone who is available Saturday and Sunday matinees.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Serve beverages and snacks to patrons before and during performances and events.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with warmth, professionalism, and sensitivity to patron needs.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and concessions area.
  • Restock inventory and supplies before, during, and after performances.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Assist with end-of-night breakdown and cleanup.
  • Cross-train and occasionally serve as an usher or greeter when needed.
  • This role includes assignments supporting merchandise sales during and performances.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous concessions, bartending, catering or event experience required.
  • Personable, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • Strong multitasking skills, especially in high-traffic or time-sensitive situations.
  • Ability to address customer service issues with compassion and clarity.
  • Must be a collaborative team player who can also work independently with confidence and initiative.
  • Comfortable handling money and using POS systems.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend matinees.
  • Enthusiasm for live theatre and willingness to be present during performances.
  • TIPS certification is a plus.

COMPENSATION

  • $18.00-$20.00/hour, depending on role.
