Tim McGovern is an improvisational and sketch comedian and recent graduate from Northwestern University where he studied theatre and creative writing. At Northwestern, he wrote and had a farce produced on campus, was a director of the premiere sketch and improv group Mee-Ow and was the head sketch writer of Waa-Mu, one of the nation’s largest student-written musical reviews. He is currently a student at the Groundlings School and the Upright Citizen's Brigade theatre, where he has performed his one-man interpretation of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which has been reviewed by the Onion's AV Club. He has acted in a sketch with Funny or Die, performs improv regularly with his team Supergroup coached by Rich Talarico, is an actor and puppeteer for the children’s theatre sketch comedy group, Story Pirates, and is an ensemble member of the LA sketch and improv group comprised of NU alums, The Identical Dopes.
