In addition to his membership in the Television Academy Hall of Fame, Tom Werner has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Producers Guild of America. That is why he has such a strong respect for illusionists. The Carsey Werner Company, which Marcy Carsey and he cofounded, has produced over 2000 hours of quality half-hour television, and it has won numerous Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, and Peabody Awards. In the last fourteen years, Werner has also been the Chairman of the Boston Red Sox, and the club has won 3 World Series after a drought of 86 years. Werner is extremely proud of his association with Derek DelGaudio and he helped produced the critically acclaimed Nothing to Hide when it traveled to N.Y.C. after its record-breaking run at the Geffen Playhouse.
