Inner City Cultural Center II

Our Mission is to Pass the Torch… Honoring the legacy of C. Bernard Jackson, founder of Inner City Cultural Center, we the alumni since 2020 under Inner City Cultural Center II, have provided—and will continue to create opportunities to the community to discover talents within. These opportunities will assist in discovering their heart, extensive educational study of the arts, learn basic business and computer skills, sell their art to build financial wealth and self-sufficiency, have internet presence, publish and market themselves, and have the opportunity to perform and sell their art in live forums.

As we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Inner City Cultural Center in 2026, we continue the work C. Bernard Jackson began by producing International Award Winning Theatrical Productions, sold-out performances from Inglewood, California to performing Off-Broadway in New York City, International Award Winning Short Films, books and albums as we continually provide performance art to the community.

Our mission is to collect the stories of the diverse storytellers, and to recognize and preserve them as a part of the "Cultural Legacy Project". This was conceived as an institution established specifically to house the collected works of C. Bernard Jackson, the Inner City Cultural Center, the Inner City Cultural Center alumni and the works of Los Angeles based artists, arts organizations and cultural workers. The institution, named The Los Angeles Inner City Cultural Center C. Bernard Jackson Memorial Library is "A Place Where You Check Out Art or Check Art In.™" and honors the legacy of the late C. Bernard Jackson.
