Ready…Set…Articulate

If you’ve been following the Geffen on social media lately, you might have noticed that we’ve been giving a lot of love to PBS SoCal’s magazine show — Articulate. This nationally syndicated public TV show, explores how creative thinkers help shape our understanding of the world. Articulate now heads into its third season, packed to the brim with new stories about remarkable human beings. Want to get to know more about what the future holds in the arts? Well, read on — and find out more about Season 3 of Articulate.

Back for Season 3, Articulate with Jim Cotter will feature Pulitzer Prize winners, Grammy winners, bestselling authors, genre-bending choreographers, and visual artists who revel in complex thinking — and reassert the show’s standing as a program dedicated to exploring artistic, and human, existence. “We are continually astonished by the wealth of wisdom in the minds of the artists, innovators, and creators, who appear on Articulate,” says host Jim Cotter. “They offer profound insights into the human experience that we all share.”

Among the highlights of the (nearly three dozen) new segments of Season 3 are: opera superstar Joyce DiDonato giving us lessons in perseverance. Writer, actor and director Josh Radnor talking about his spiritual reckoning. National Book Award finalist Jason Reynolds introduces us to his brand of hip-hop-infused fiction and documentarian Lauren Greefield examining contemporary cultural values.
