Alan F. Horn is one of the entertainment industry’s most respected executives, known for overseeing some of the most successful film studios and franchises in Hollywood history. As Chairman of Walt Disney Studios from 2012 to 2020, and later as Chief Creative Officer, Horn helped guide an extraordinary era of storytelling and box office success, including films from Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. During his tenure, Disney released numerous critically acclaimed and record-breaking films, including entries in the Star Wars, Avengers, Frozen, and Black Panther franchises.
Prior to Disney, Horn served as President and COO of Warner Bros., where he oversaw landmark franchises including Harry Potter, The Dark Knight trilogy, and The Lord of the Rings. Widely admired for his leadership, creative instincts, and deep commitment to filmmakers, Horn has played a defining role in shaping modern cinema and advancing the global reach of theatrical storytelling.
