Regional theater credits include Lear’s Fool, Marius in Fugard’s Road to Mecca and the blind Irishman in Conor McPherson’s The Seafarer for which he won the San Diego Critics Circle Award for Best Actor (San Diego Repertory Theater); Richard III, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Merry Wives of Windsor (San Diego Old Globe); Henry V (American Shakespeare Festival); Hoagy, Bix, Wolfgang Beethoven Bunkhouse (Indiana Repertory Theatre); Three Penny Opera, Camille, Wild Oats and just last year Fool in King Lear (Guthrie Theatre). Los Angeles theater: Discord at the Geffen Playhouse and recently Three Days in the Country at Antaeus Theatre Company. Television: 80 guest star roles including Quark on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Happily married to Kitty Swink for over 35 years—unquestionably his greatest achievement.
