Christian Telesmar is honored to be making his Geffen Playhouse debut with Purpose and to be working under director Phylicia Rashad. He was a 2024 NAACP Theatre Award nominee for Best Lead Male for his performance as “Harmond Wilks” in August Wilson's Radio Golf (A Noise Within). Additional regional theatre: Middle of the World and On the Other Hand, We're Happy (Rogue Machine Theatre, Boise Contemporary Theater); Othello and Love’s Labour’s Lost(Montana Shakespeare Company); Kentucky (East West Players); Mama Metal (IAMA Theatre Company); Friends with Guns (The Road Theatre Company); and Seminar (Chance Theater).
