Dale Dickey has worked on Broadway (Sir Peter Hall’s The Merchant of Venice) and off (Playwrights Horizons, Signature Theatre, Manhattan Punch Line Theatre). Regional credits include the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Royal George Theatre in Chicago, Paper Mill Playhouse and Clarence Brown Theatre (most recently, A Streetcar Named Desire and Sweeney Todd). In Los Angeles, she received two Ovation Awards and two LA Weekly Awards for her roles in Del Shores’ Southern Baptist Sissies and The Trials & Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife. She won an Independent Spirit Award as Best Supporting Actress in Winter’s Bone. Other films include Hell or High Water, Blood Father, Iron Man 3, The Guilt Trip, Being Flynn, Changeling, Domino, The Pledge and Regression. Some of her extensive television work includes recurring roles on True Blood, Breaking Bad, Justified, My Name is Earl and Christy. Dale will appear as a series regular in season two of Vice Principals.
