Born and raised in the Bronx, Evelyn Spahr is a proud Ecuadorian American drawn to stories about ordinary people navigating extraordinary circumstances. Most recently, she understudied Amber Gray and Emily Davis in Tartuffe at New York Theatre Workshop, opposite Matthew Broderick and David Cross. Other credits include Light Shining in Buckinghamshire at New York Theatre Workshop, directed by Rachel Chavkin, Henry V and Cry it Out at Hartford Stage, and Richard III at Shakespeare Theatre Company. She holds a B.F.A. from New York University.
