O'Meara

A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Peter began performing at the Lyric Theatre Belfast before joining the Abbey Theatre Dublin. He went on to the National Theatre London and the Royal Shakespeare Company, notably opening in Stratford-upon- Avon as Edmund in the Yukio Ninagawa production of King Lear opposite Sir Nigel Hawthorne. His work on the HBO series Band of Brothers introduced Peter to American audiences. He recently starred in Irish drama Love/Hate and will next be seen opposite Aidan Gillen in the political mini-series Charlie. This marks Peter’s debut at the Geffen Playhouse, one of his favorite theater venues.
