Steve Marvel has appeared in productions with the Laguna Playhouse, A Noise Within, The Theatre at Boston Court, The Reduced Shakespeare Company, the International City Theatre, the Theatricum Botanicum, the Odyssey Theatre, the fabled Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, and play opposite such notables as Robert Patrick (Gangster Squad, True Blood), Keith David (Cloud Atlas, Mr.and Mrs. Smith), and Harry Lennix (The Black List, Man of Steel). He won praise for directing LA’s first all-black production of MACBETH, also starring Harry Lennix. He regularly voices video games for Sony, Mattel, and ActiVision, and created the live-action version of PlayStation’s seminal Preacher in the Twisted Metal vehicle combat series. Most recently, he was proud to voice the Bum and various other shady characters in the long-awaited revival of the Leisure Suit Larry franchise. A Voice Arts Award nominee, Steve’s recent audiobook work includes narrating best-selling mystery author Jake Needham’s Inspector Tay novels and Peggy Henderson’s highly popular Teton Romance series. He has been the regular narrator for New York Times-best-selling author John Mauldin’s “Thoughts from the Frontline Audio” newsletter. He is a graduate of at Northwestern University’s renowned Acting program.
