Ty Molbak grew up in New Orleans, LA and on Whidbey Island, WA. He can be seen later this year opposite Margot Robbie in Damien Chazelle’s new film Babylon, as well as starring in Immortality, a new live-action video game from BAFTA award-winning director Sam Barlow. Off-Broadway: The Sabbath Girl (59E59 Theaters). Other theater credits include: Richard II and Henry IV Part I (Bill Buckhurst, Shakespeare’s Globe) and Constellations (Nicholas Polonio, Blue Collaborative). Film credits include: Next Exit (Mali Elfman, Tribeca Film Festival 2022 Selection) and Master (Mariama Diallo, Amazon Studios; Sundance and SXSW 2022 Selection). TV credits include: PBC (Cinemand) and Katy Keene (The CW). Before theater, Ty studied ballet pre-professionally and danced leading roles with New Orleans Ballet Theater and South Bay Ballet. Ty attended Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television for directing before earning his B.F.A. in acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
