Mike Sablone is the Producing Artistic Director of The Warehouse Theatre in Greenville, South Carolina. At The Warehouse, he produced the world premiere of Power of Sail as well as 11 digital world premieres, including Mister and Mischief’s Objectivity, and Long Story Short, featuring Bekah Brunstetter, Kristoffer Diaz, Dorothy Fortenberry, Marco Ramirez, and others. World premiere dramaturgy includes Ken Weitzman’s The Catch at Denver Center for the Performing Arts; John Belluso’s Henry Flamethrowa at Trinity Repertory Company; and for Center Theatre Group’s productions of David Henry Hwang’s Pulitzer Prize finalist Yellow Face, and Alex Timbers and Michael Friedman’s Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson—the latter of which he stayed with from development through its Broadway run where it was nominated for Best Book at the Tony Awards. He spent five years as Director of Development for John Krasinski’s Sunday Night Productions, serving as Executive Producer of Krasinski’s The Hollars and Co-Producer of Gus Van Sant’s Promised Land.
